The Percussion Blueprint: Curriculum & Music - Conductor Book 2

25 Intermediate Ensemble Pieces in One Resource - CONDUCTOR BOOK 2

The Percussion Blueprint was designed with group teaching in mind and for educators teaching the Education QLD Instrumental Music Curriculum.

Take your students to the next level with The Percussion Blueprint Book 2. This comprehensive percussion method book is designed for students in their 4th to 6th years of learning, offering a diverse and engaging collection of intermediate percussion ensemble repertoire.

This all-in-one resource supports group lessons, one-on-one teaching, and school assessments, making it a practical and flexible solution for classroom use. Featuring adaptable parts for mallets, snare drum, bass drum, auxiliary percussion, and timpani, it works across a wide range of school setups, from full percussion sections to more limited resources.

This intermediate method includes TWENTY-FIVE sequential ensemble pieces, each carefully designed to introduce new musical concepts step-by-step. Clear explanations and teaching tips throughout the book help build confidence for both students and teachers, making it an effective tool for developing skills across multiple instruments.

The Percussion Blueprint Book 2 functions as both a repertoire collection and an assessment toolkit. The pieces are suitable for Levels 4–6 of the Education QLD Instrumental Music Curriculum, allowing teachers to assess multiple students across different skill areas using engaging, achievable music.

Illustrations throughout the book support student engagement and help reinforce musical understanding during the early high school years. This resource is designed to save teachers time, keep students progressing steadily, and simplify the assessment process.

Whether continuing on from Percussion Blueprint Book 1 or introducing a new challenge, this method provides a clear, structured pathway for developing confident and capable percussionists. 149 pages.
