The Flight Nora Baritone is a steel string baritone ukulele that provides a stunning blend of elegance, craftsmanship, and rich, dynamic tone. With a solid Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body, the Nora delivers bright, articulate highs balanced by a warm, resonant low end, making it a versatile choice for any style of music.

Designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, the Nora features a beautiful mango scalloped cutaway, allowing effortless access to higher frets without sacrificing volume or tone. Complementing its refined look, the instrument boasts an Indian rosewood fingerboard, mango binding and rosette, and Flight’s custom golden machine heads for a premium touch and smooth tuning experience.

Equipped with the active Double C1U pickup, the Nora is stage and studio ready, ensuring that your sound will always be clear and powerful. Whether you’re strumming, fingerpicking, or exploring new musical horizons, the Flight Nora Baritone steel string ukulele is ready to join you on your musical journey.

With a solid spruce top and a mahogany body, the Flight Nora Baritone delivers a bright, clear tone with a warm, resonant foundation. The spruce top enhances clarity and projection, while the mahogany body adds richness and a smooth, balanced character—making it a baritone that stands out in both sound and style.

Like many of our Princess Series ukuleles, the Nora Baritone features a chocolatey rosewood fingerboard. Historically a very popular hardwood for fretted instruments, rosewood can add warmth to the sound of an instrument while lessening harsh higher frequencies.

A unique offering in Flight’s catalog, the steel strings of the Nora create a different tonal experience with excellent projection and sustain. The Nora is ideal for players seeking a brighter, more dynamic sound. The Nora features a real bone nut and a compensated saddle. Compensated saddles help to properly set the intonation of each string. The pin bridge allows for quick and easy string changes.

The Nora features a gloss black headstock with the Flight logo, which matches the gloss black scallop and binding of the instrument. The resulting look is both bold and classy.

We incorporated a mango scalloped cutaway into the Nora, a favorite feature in many of our models. This thoughtful design allows for easier access to the higher frets without sacrificing volume or tone, a common drawback of full cutaways. The scalloped cutaway also highlights the exceptional craftsmanship and skill of our luthiers.

The controls for the active pickup are mounted underneath the sound hole, meaning that a cavity does not have to be created on the side of the ukulele for the pickup. The Double C1U is easy to use, and sounds great! Ukuleles with the new active pickups include an “A” (for “Active”) as a part of their model number. For tips on how to use the Double C1 pickup, visit the FAQ section on our website!

All of our Princess Series ukuleles come with a luxury red gig bag with a purple infusion. This colour has traditionally been associated with royalty, a fitting final touch of luxury with this instrument. The bag features great features and 15mm padding which will protect your ukulele and make it comfortable to transport.
