Violin Method Book and Online Video
This popular violin method, authored by Frank Zucco, is designed for beginning students and features a vibrant assortment of solos and studies. With his extensive teaching experience, Zucco provides a modern approach that emphasises the fundamentals of violin performance. The method covers essential topics such as time signatures, music reading, pizzicato, and articulations.
As students progress through the book, they will gain experience playing in all major and minor keys, incorporating up to four accidentals in the key signature. The book includes various pieces with accompaniment chords, as well as duets for collaboration between teacher and student. Additionally, it introduces third position through practice tunes.
To enhance the learning experience, this method includes access to a 116-minute online video that complements the first 77 pages of the book, providing visual guidance for the techniques and pieces covered.
