Each unit in the book is themed around relatable and fun topics such as "At the Park," "Up in Space," or "Creepy Crawly Things," which help to maintain students' interest and enthusiasm. Daily activities within the book are structured to enhance basic musical skills: students are encouraged to clap and count out two short rhythm lines, sight-read two brief pieces, and mark their progress with a "Did It!" box each day. This methodical approach ensures consistent practice and reinforcement of learned skills.

The progression in "Book A" is carefully sequenced to build foundational sight-reading abilities gradually. It starts with reading intervals of 2nds and 3rds from guide notes like Middle C, Treble G, and Bass F. As students advance through the book, the interval of a 4th is introduced in Unit 4. This structured progression is designed to guide students in developing their ability to sight-read with ease, accuracy, and musicality from the very beginning of their musical education.

Please allow 1-2 days for handling and 1 to 9 business days for delivery, depending on your selected shipping service. If you have not received your parcel within this time, please get in touch with us and we will open an enquiry for you. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided. Express Shipping is available. Please allow 1 day for handling and 2 to 2 working days for delivery, or longer for remote areas. Music2u will not replace any lost or delayed Australia Post items if the Economy Shipping option is selected at checkout. 

Our Shipping Options Include:

  • Untracked Shipping is an untracked shipping option offered through Australia Post with a Priority stamp. No tracking number is provided with this service. Please allow 4-7 business delays for delivery of your order. 

  • Standard Shipping is a fully tracked service offered through Australia Post. A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery of your order. NT and WA customers should allow 6-8 days.

  • Sendle Courier is a courier service provided to most areas in Australia with deliveries being handled by Couriers Please and Aramex. Please allow 2-8 business days for delivery of your order.

  • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. NT and WA customers should allow 3-6 days.

Tracking Your Order

You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

Pre Orders

Please note that all 'single' pre-order books that arrive back in stock will ship via the standard Australia Post untracked service. The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee. If you would like to arrange tracked or express shipping for a single pre-order, please contact us.
