Who Was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart?

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791) was an Austrian composer and musician, widely considered one of the greatest composers in the history of Western classical music. Born in Salzburg, Mozart showed prodigious talent from a young age, composing his first music at just five years old. He went on to produce an enormous body of work, including symphonies, operas, chamber music, piano works, and choral compositions, despite his short life—he died at the age of 35.

Mozart's music is known for its emotional depth, technical brilliance, and melodic inventiveness. His compositions spanned virtually every musical form and genre of his time, and his influence on subsequent generations of composers is incalculable. Some of his most famous works include the operas "The Marriage of Figaro," "Don Giovanni," and "The Magic Flute," as well as symphonies like Symphony No. 40 in G Minor and his Requiem Mass in D Minor. His works are regularly performed and studied to this day, and he remains an iconic figure in the world of music.
