Flight A10SC Cocobolo Dragon 10th Anniversary Tenor Ukulele

Solid Spruce Top and Solid Cocobolo Back and Sides Handcrafted Tenor Ukulele with a Dragon Fretboard Inlay

"Where Artistry Meets Sound Excellence" ✨

Feast your eyes and ears on the Flight A10SC Cocobolo Dragon Tenor Ukulele, a masterpiece born from a harmonious fusion of exquisite tonewoods and impeccable craftsmanship. Crafted with a solid Engelmann soundboard and solid cocobolo back and sides, this ukulele is an auditory and visual marvel.

At its heart lies a captivating turquoise dragon inlay on the fretboard—an homage to the symbol of Ljubljana, Slovenia, the cherished home of Flight Ukulele. Adding to its allure is a redwood rosette adorned with a Roman numeral “X” inlay, commemorating a glorious 10 years of Flight Ukuleles. The instrument also boasts a distinctive 10th-anniversary headstock, sleek black binding with a delicate purfling strip, a pin bridge, Brazilian fluorocarbon strings, and an enhanced deluxe gig bag. To put it simply, this ukulele is a showstopper!

Flight Ukuleles is celebrating its remarkable tenth anniversary, and this exceptional instrument is part of a quartet of tenor ukuleles designed to mark this milestone. Renowned for crafting high-quality and affordable ukuleles, Flight has ventured into new territory with these anniversary models—solid wood ukuleles, each meticulously crafted by a master luthier. The result? Craftsmanship, playability, and sound that rival the finest ukuleles on the planet.

The soundboard boasts top-grade solid Engelmann Spruce, delivering an open, responsive sound. The cocobolo back and sides, a striking tropical hardwood, impart a bright yet resonant tone that enchants both the eyes and ears. Each ukulele in the A10 series is a masterpiece handcrafted by a single master luthier.

The neck, made of mahogany, ensures stability and resistance to warping. Its ebony fretboard, considered the pinnacle for fingerboards, produces a clear, crisp attack and offers a smooth and nimble playing experience. The pièce de résistance of the neck is the dragon inlay—a tribute to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The A10 Series showcases an ebony bridge, harmonizing with the fretboard, along with a real bone nut and a compensated saddle to ensure precise intonation for each string. A pin bridge system ensures proper string alignment and efficient vibration transfer to the soundboard.

Behold the redwood rosette, graced with a Roman numeral “X” to honor Flight Ukulele's 10th anniversary. The ukulele's magnificent black binding, accentuated by a purfling stripe, elevates its aesthetic appeal to breathtaking heights.

To celebrate this monumental milestone, the A10 models feature a distinct headstock, infusing uniqueness and charm into each instrument. As a token of our appreciation for a decade of support, Flight Ukulele continues its tradition of including a deluxe gig bag with each ukulele. ✨
