The Yamaha YRA-302BIII is an alto recorder designed for more advanced players who want an instrument that maximises their performance. It has a traditional Baroque fingering system and is made of durable ABS resin, which is easy to care for and produces a tone similar to natural wood.
The recorder has an ideal amount of air resistance for easy control and offers accurate intonation usually found in more expensive models. Its arched windway provides slight resistance for better breath control, resulting in greater tonal expressiveness and projection. The recorder is in the key of F and resembles the famous Rottenburgh recorders.
The YRA-302BIII comes with a cotton case, fingering chart, recorder cream, and cleaning rod. Yamaha recorders are made with safety and reliability in mind. The ABS resin used in some recorder bodies may contain lead, phthalate esters, and other toxic materials, but Yamaha uses non-toxic materials that clear international safety standards. The recorder bags are made from environmentally friendly natural cotton.
