The Something For Kate album "Official Fiction" is now available in a special 20th anniversary edition on blue with white marbling vinyl. This iconic album was originally released on July 31st, 2000, and has since become a classic of Australian indie rock. Something For Kate's music is known for its intelligent lyrics, catchy hooks, and emotive vocals, and "Official Fiction" is no exception.

One interesting fact about the band is that they formed in Melbourne in 1994 and were initially named "Fish of the Day". The name was eventually changed to Something For Kate, inspired by a song by The Easybeats.

Express Shipping is available. Please allow 1 day for handling and 2 to 2 working days for delivery, or longer for remote areas. Music2u will not replace any lost or delayed Australia Post items if the Economy Shipping option is selected at checkout.

  • Untracked Shipping is an untracked shipping option offered through Australia Post with a Priority stamp. No tracking number is provided with this service. Please allow 4-7 business delays for delivery of your order. 

  • Standard Shipping is a fully tracked service offered through Australia Post. A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery of your order. NT and WA customers should allow 6-8 days.

  • Sendle Courier is a courier service provided to most areas in Australia with deliveries being handled by Couriers Please and Aramex. Please allow 2-8 business days for delivery of your order.

  • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. NT and WA customers should allow 3-6 days.

Tracking Your Order

You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

Pre Orders

Please note that all 'single' pre-order books that arrive back in stock will ship via the standard Australia Post untracked service. The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee.
