We know very little about Mozart's Divertimento in D major K. 334, which is still popular today: an autograph has not been preserved, and in the two editions published after Mozart's death there are in one case only four, in the other six movements. It is very likely that the divertimento is a "Robinische Musique", as mentioned a number of times in the Mozart family correspondence, which was composed in 1780 for a member of the respected patrician Robinig family, with whom the Mozarts were on friendly terms. Traditionally, such a divertimento was combined with a march as the opening and closing music. Since the March K. 445 has the key and instrumentation in common with the Divertimento K. 334 and its autograph could conceivably be dated to summer 1780, it is placed before the Divertimento in the present edition. Editor Felix Loy has carefully probed the complicated source situation and also provides in his preface a glimpse into contemporary music-making practice which allowed for larger or smaller ensembles in performances of this type of music. Henle offers in the Urtext both an edition for a six-piece chamber ensemble with one-on-a-part string instrumentation, as well as an alternative for chamber orchestra with string instrumentation of any size and with a conducting score. Courier Shipping is available to most areas across Australia, with deliveries handled by CouriersPlease, Aramex, Team Global Express or another suitable courier partner, depending on your location. Please allow approximately 2–8 business days for delivery. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched.
Economy Shipping (Untracked) is our low-cost economy option, sent via Australia Post using postage stamps — good old-fashioned snail mail. This service does not include tracking. You'll receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, but no tracking number or delivery updates will be available.
Please allow approximately 5–12 business days for delivery. We do not recommend untracked shipping for time-sensitive orders; please select a tracked or Express service if you need your order by a particular date. Music2u will not replace missing items under the untracked Economy Shipping option.
Customer Pickup (South East Melbourne)
Customer pickup is available from our Dingley Village, Melbourne VIC 3172 location. Pickup orders are generally processed within 24 hours, Monday–Friday. Once your order is ready, you'll receive an email and text message with your unique parcel locker code. Your order can then be collected from the Music2u Parcel Box 24/7, at a time that suits you. Please wait until you receive your ‘Order Ready’ text/email before arriving to collect your order. Your order will not be available for collection before this notification has been sent.
If an item is unavailable or requires additional time to arrive, we'll contact you by phone or email. If you require an urgent pickup, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the stock is available onsite.

Pre-Orders
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the in-stock items will be dispatched using the shipping method selected at checkout.
When a single pre-order book becomes available, it will generally be sent separately via untracked Australia Post at no additional shipping charge.
