"Inscription of Hope" is a musical composition arranged for a unique ensemble comprising cello, oboe, viola, violin (string quartet), and oboe. This piece draws inspiration from various sources, such as fragments of a Russian folk melody and a Jewish text, to convey a universal message of hope and unwavering faith triumphing over formidable challenges, including prejudice, hatred, or the fear of death.

The composition features limited vocal ranges, includes an a cappella middle section, and incorporates a brief narration, all of which combine to create an accessible and emotionally impactful song of hope. Composed by Z. Randall Stroope.
