RESERVE CELLO. STRADIVARI. EBONY FITTINGS
Hand-crafted by master luthiers in the Hidersine Reserve workshops, each of these instruments is truly unique. Although sharing a common specification, each Hidersine Reserve Cello is individually handmade and is therefore truly individual.
Using a selection of the finest, aged tonewoods and high quality fittings and accessories, they represent both superior quality and remarkable value.
Inspired by celebrated designs and patterns from the most respected and skilled master luthiers throughout history, Hidersine Reserve instruments feature a unique range of varnish styles and finishes.
Stradivari
Most famous for his exceptional violin making skills, master luthier Antonio Stradivari also handcrafted nearly 80 Cellos in his lifetime. Forever pushing the boundaries of instrument craftsmanship and design, Stradivari experimented with his Cellos until he finally created original designs that were unrivaled in previous Cello making.
His designs are generally regarded to have improved subsequent Cellos by reducing their size and giving them a broader range of expressiveness and power. Noted for their compact size and impeccable craftsmanship, Stadivari Cellos feature strong red varnish finishes characteristic of that used on his violins.
Hidersine Reserve Stradivari Cellos offer a stunning representation of the originals, using the finest tonewoods with a deep-red finish and featuring high-quality fittings. True to the originals, their compact design allows for improved acoustic qualities and make them easier to play.
