The BlitzBook of Harmony Rules is an indispensable tool for any harmony student. It has helped countless students doing grades 3-6 in Theory or Musicianship as they now have a concise and easy-to-follow reference book which contains all they need to know to complete 4-part harmony examples in either pianoforte style or vocal style. It also serves as an excellent resource for revising cadence rules as the big exam day approaches.

Each page of The BlitzBook of Harmony Rules is devoted to a different type of cadence. The rules for each cadence are listed in point form followed by a practice example in both 4-part vocal and pianoforte style. The book contains valuable information on passing notes auxiliary notes doubling tonality of chords and hints for good chord progressions. Towards the end of the book there is practice in harmonising longer passages.

The BlitzBook of Harmony Rules is designed to complement all theory textbooks and covers harmony requirements up to Grade 6 Theory or Musicianship.
